Diethanol Isopropanolamine 85% (DEIPA 85%) is an amino alcohol. It belongs to the group of alkanolamines. It is a tertiary alkanolamine. It is produced from reacting propylene oxide with diethanol amine.

Diethanol Isopropanolamine 85% (DEIPA 85%) is a colorless to pale yellow transparent and viscous liquid. It is completely soluble in water, also soluble in ethanol, acetone, glycerine, and ethylene glycol. It has a very light ammonia like smell.
